[HBPT-70] Hummingbot Foundation 2025 Board of Directors elections

The Hummingbot Foundation Board of Directors is a 5-person, independent committee that oversees the day-to-day administration of the Hummingbot Foundation and manages the multi-signature wallet of the HBOT treasury.

Serving on the Board is open to anyone in the Hummingbot community. As board members are elected by HBOT holders, board candidates should have some past experience with Hummingbot and its community. Per the Foundation bylaws, there is no salary for serving on the Board of Directors.

The election ends in 1 week, and the top 5 vote-getters will be seated afterwards on the Board of Directors for a 1-year term. See https://hummingbot.org/board for additional documentation.

I'd like to submit my application to rejoin the Hummingbot Foundation Board of Directors for the 2025-2026 term. Compared to one year ago, the Foundation enters 2025 on significantly firmer financial footing, with a stronger balance sheet and growing sustainability in ongoing monthly fee share revenues. However, I think there remains work to do to 1) strengthen the compliance health of the Foundation while 2) explore ways to grow the value/utility of the HBOT token. I plan to focus on #1 and would like to work with fellow board members on #2. My ETH address:

Hello everyone, I would like to submit my application to rejoin the Hummingbot Foundation Board. I am Brett Gibson, Managing Partner at Initialized Capital and we are large HBOT holders by virtue of leading the Series A round for CoinAlpha. As large holders we continue to be interested in the success of the project and I believe strategically the focus to that end should be on a) continuing to explore the utility of the token in the Hummingbot ecosystem given the strength of the open source project and b) continuing to ensure the foundation itself is healthy and meaningfully governed by the community.

I'm excited to submit my nomination for the 2025-2026 term as a Board member at Hummingbot Foundation Board of Directors. In my previous term, I made several key contributions to the Foundation's progress. My work includes:

Foundation Contributions:

- Worked closely with the team throughout the year to help build Hummingbot.
- Assisted in building the Meteora connector on the new gateway.
- Rebuilt the XRPL connector, transitioning it to full Python implementation.

Collaborative Development:
- Worked with @Dipfit to create multiple Hummingbot connectors.

Looking ahead, my focus for the upcoming term is twofold:

- Driving Revenue with Innovative Products: I will collaborate with fellow board members to explore and develop innovative products using Hummingbot that generate sustainable revenue for the Foundation.

- Enhancing Our Technology: I will work closely with the Foundation Team to deliver new features and refine our project code base, ensuring our platform remains robust and innovative.

My commitment remains to advance Hummingbot’s ecosystem and drive sustainable growth for the Foundation.

Hi everyone,

I'm Nick and would like to submit my application to join the Hummingbot Foundation Board of Directors for 2025-2026. There are already 5 excellent candidates who have been more active than I have been this past year, but it has been a pleasure to serve as a Board Observer for '24-'25 and am posting out of a desire to do so again.

Whether as a Member or Observer, my focus will be on providing a user-experience and objective perspective. I am a data governance manager for a prominent media company during the day and in my free time I have led activities by Pecunia.Finance DAO in previous Hummingbot contributions such as the Cosmos Chain Gateway component and Osmosis AMM/CL connector for Gateway. I would like to continue to see new ecosystems integrated and push for a better user experience, to expand the community further. Of course, I would also provide support for any data governance related topics. Long live Hummingbot.

I'd like to submit my first time application to join the Hummingbot Foundation Board of Directors for the 2025-2026 term. My team (including @wojak) at https://labs.robotter.ai/ has been active in the Hummingbot community since 2021, building connectors for Serum, Mango Markets, Kujira, XRPL DEX, Cube Exchange and BingX.

My vision is to use Hummingbot as the framework for the decentralized trading bot cloud in crypto, with low skill floor and high skill ceiling. Everybody should be able to manage their liquidity in an efficient manner to support their ecosystems and to enable institutional-level liquidity and rates.

My goal as board member is to grow the revenue stream for the foundation and bring prosperity to HBOT holders and believers. My team aims to support new features for easy setup of Hummingbot instances and improving the UI/UX of the dashboard and adjacent systems.

Organized two quantitative trading competitions
Facilitated HashKey exchange's integration with Hummingbot
Maintained a quantitative trading community of over 1,500 members

If elected, I will focus on two key priorities:
Bridge Global & Chinese Communities: Leverage my bilingual expertise to amplify Asian developer and market maker voices in governance discussions and accelerate regional adoption.
Enhance HBOT Utility: Propose innovative incentive mechanisms like trading competition to strengthen HBOT's value capture within the Hummingbot ecosystem.
