Ministry of Art – A group of trusted community members with a longstanding commitment to the Forgotten Runes universe. The Ministry previously managed a 20 ETH allocation from the DAO treasury, producing numerous high-quality art pieces, animations, and physical media. The team remains committed to transparency, creative excellence, and strengthening community lore.

Summary of Project

The Ministry of Art proposes a new allocation of 20 ETH from the Forgotten Council Treasury. This funding will allow the Ministry to continue commissioning original artwork and visual content that deepens the mythology of the Forgotten Runes universe. The prior 20 ETH allocation enabled the commissioning of a diverse portfolio of illustrations, animations, and community-inspired pieces. The success of that phase reaffirmed the importance of centralized art funding in supporting the Runiverse's expansion.

This proposal ensures continuity of that effort, empowering both established and emerging artists to collaborate, explore new formats, and deliver immersive visual storytelling experiences to the Cult.

Project Goals

This initiative seeks to:

• Continue commissioning high-quality art for both new and existing Wizard holders
• Support Runiverse storytelling across a range of visual media
• Facilitate artist collaboration through stipends, tools, and creative guidance
• Enrich the Cult's cultural footprint with compelling visuals tied to core lore

The outcome benefits the DAO directly by expanding the mythology and visibility of the Runiverse in service of community cohesion and global storytelling.

Specifications

The funding will be used to:

• Commission digital art, comics, physical media, and explore emerging visual formats
• Onboard and support artists with tools and direction to ensure creative alignment
• Maintain transparency – no funds will be used to compensate Ministry members

Timeline and Process

• Disbursement: 20 ETH requested in two phases
  • 10 ETH immediately upon proposal approval
  • 10 ETH after reporting on the initial 10 ETH expenditure
• Onboarding and coordination of artists will begin immediately following approval
• Quarterly updates will be provided to the Forgotten Council outlining spending, progress, and completed works

• 10 ETH upon submission of a spending report for the first installment
