Honoring Work Done on Legacy Proposals

Abstract

This proposal addresses the challenge of integrating legacy proposals into the House of Wizards DAO's current legal framework and introduces a compensation plan totaling $17,600 to honor the early efforts of our legacy proposers.

Motivation

In the foundational phase of our DAO, several enthusiastic members submitted proposals that were approved by the community. However, these proposals were made before our legal formation, creating a gap between their visionary efforts and our current operational structure. Addressing this gap is essential to uphold our values of fairness and respect for early contributions.

Rationale

This compensation plan aligns with our mission to recognize and reward dedication and innovation. It ensures that our early contributors are acknowledged and compensated.

Specifications

The Special Council is requesting $17,600 split as follows:

1.) Proposal #5: The Professor’s Library: $17,000 for work done on the project.
