Forgotten Runes: Legacy of the Secret Tower (Board Game Proposal with The Pixel Shop)

Summary

Produce a production ready copy of our board game Forgotten Runes: Legacy of the Secret Tower that will launch on Kickstarter middle of next year. All mechanics, rules and components are completed, we just need final art assets, lore copy, and Kickstarter script/video/content to launch the game. We are asking for $43,475 to complete the final design steps to launch the Kickstarter. In return all funds will be paid back post Kickstarter in addition to a 20% royalty back to the DAO on all net revenue produced by game sales. First payment back will be directly after collecting funds from the kickstarter, royalties will then be applied quarterly with a breakdown of net revenue for units sold. There are also 8 wizards, 8 warriors, 8 souls open for casting calls for people to use their FRWC NFTs. After funding, a google questionnaire will be sent out for people to apply.

Game Overview Forgotten Runes: Legacy of the Secret Tower is an immersive board game that transports players to a land of enchantment, adventure, and strategic challenges in their quest to rebuild the Secret Tower and collect as many tower runes as possible to attain the title of the supreme Wizard of the Kingdom of the Runeverse.

You will embark on a journey to explore mesmerising wizard realms, engage in exhilarating duels, conquer formidable souls and the dreaded Nightmare Imp, whilst strategically accumulating valuable Tower Runes to secure your path to victory.

Forgotten Runes: Legacy of the Secret Tower is a 1 to an 8-player game that takes between 90 - 120 minutes to play. The game is monopoly meets game of thrones with a few twists here and there. A cooperative/competitive game where you have to work together to survive all the corruption and souls being unleashed onto the lands to rebuild the secret tower, but the wizard who collects the highest number of secret runes will win! Why Us? We have been working on this game for the past 3+ years mechanically. After finding out about the FRWC earlier this year, we realized how perfect the theme of the Secret Tower and the larger Runeverse world fits within the context of the game. In addition, board games can help bring attention to the FRWC brand outside of web3. We have a good track record and history of launching successful games on Kickstarter and believe with the support of the community and our own ability to draw attention, we can shoot for a very high funding rate.

We also have the ability to ship the game world wide using our logistics network and partners at Modern Games. If successful, we have the ability to place a FRWC game in Target and other major distributors.

Forgotten Runes as a brand can easily permeate culture outside of web3 and can become a household name. We believe board games lends itself to this and bridges digital to physical in a nice playscape.
