CIP-22: Breadfriend Plush Toy

Summary of Project:

This proposal seeks funding to manufacture and ship 250* Breadfriend plush toys. A prototype has been made and the design is all but finished, it just needs a once-over and minor adjustments from the manufacturer (yourstuffmade.com).

I am asking for $1,725* to cover the manufacture and initial shipping costs.

All available plushes will be pre-sold at $30* each (plus shipping), and production will not begin until 69* pre-orders have been made to ensure 120%* reimbursement to the DAO. ($30* x 69* = $2070*).

Any units remaining after the pre-sale will be warehoused and available for sale until stock is depleted. with a number of units to be included in Meepledad's Treasure Trove 2

Project Goals:

Give some life and recognition to an underrepresented character. Breadfriend has an unique potential to be a breakout character within the Runiverse due to his incredible cuteness and mischievous charm, and there is no better way to start his legacy than by creating a physical representation to place gingerly into the hands of those who will love and cherish him (and squeeze him too hard and use him as a pillow and accidentally allow him to become a dog toy sometimes).

Specifications:

Presale to go live before production begins, manufacturing and initial shipping to be carried out by yourstuffmade.com. Required resources will be covered by the proposal funding and paid back to the dao in full through presales.

Once the requisite pre-orders are logged and production is started, product turnaround will be roughly 3~4 weeks, after which individual toys will be packaged and shipped to pre-order customers.

Total turnaround after proposal is passed and funds are divested will be roughly ~5 weeks.
