Here is an alphabetical list of candidates and their introduction of themselves:
Feckless
Designer, artist, and long time member of the cult. Author of CIP-22: Breadfriend Plush Toy and creator of The Book of Lore 2.0. If elected I will do whatever is in my power to elevate !magic above all else.
Kel
I’ve been a holder since the day after mint in 2021 (my very first NFT mint—I didn’t even know how to pump the gas). Forgotten Runes is the only project I’ve stayed with all these years.
In the past, I created Wizard Wednesday recaps, an effort later carried on by @FRWCPress until Magic Machine-run WWs concluded. Today, @taniadelrio and @MONDAYMAGICFRWC continue that tradition, and I believe these kinds of ongoing efforts are vital—they provide a living record of what’s happening within the community.
If elected to the Council, I will honor my commitments and focus on stewarding the treasury responsibly, while helping the team develop and execute ideas that foster lore creation and community collaboration. I bring professional experience in project and program management to support that mission.
In terms of alignment, I’d call myself ‘unaligned’—neither pro- nor anti–Magic Machine. Think of me like Switzerland, with all the pros and cons that brings.
Vmark
I’ve been part of the community for a long time, and I’ve never stopped building or planning new projects for wizards. Much of that work can be seen at The Cabinet of Curiosities, and you can follow @cabinet_of_curi for updates.
I believe there is so much more we can achieve through the combined efforts of the Ministry of Arts, Magic Machine, and the DAO. The DAO should take a greater role in not just funding projects, but also organizing and coordinating them.
If elected to the Council, I will work to help the DAO realize this potential—supporting collaboration, creativity, and community growth.
Wizard on the Coast
I am committed to fostering community growth, lore development, and art creation, while uniting a fractured yet vital segment of our community through professional collaboration. I embrace challenging questions and honest feedback. By leveraging this role as a platform to showcase our vibrant community's lore and promoting the development of essential tools, I aim to help elevate this project to new heights.
The voting will be done with a Weighted Voting strategy. Each token holder can allocate their full voting power across all of the candidates in proportional manner.
After the two week voting period, the top candidate with the highest vote count will be selected as signer of the Forgotten Council.
After the voting period concludes, the Forgotten Council will tally the votes and announce the top nominee who will serve as signer in the Council.
Once the voting period ends, the results will be final and binding for the selection of signers.
Proposal Start Date: Sunday 17th of August 2025, 16:00 UTC
