Monday !Magic Memos - Video Editor Funds

Background: Henboyd is going to just act as the lead on this project and do the "doxxed" filming (Slim may do a segment as well), Slim and Mehster B are aware of our efforts and they are very active in our discord. To answer your question though, Mehster B has video editing experience and he actually did episode I for us. Typically Slim handles getting the questions and art together for our cult member spotlights, and Mehster B helped with editing and getting our specific art assets together and updated (photos of itineraries, graphics for specific FRWC items ect… )

Summary of Project

"Project: Monday! Magic Memos! - VLOG / PODCAST Weekly Worldwide Wizard News and Info from around the Ledgendarium!! The Ask: Need a part time video editor due to IRL time limitations.

Our productions will be objective, fair, unbiased, fact based, broad, and we will strive to provide as much cult content each week that we can! This is fun for us and we want to share what the FRWC community is doing!

I along with a few other wizards in the community began recording short podcast / vlog-cast shows to be featured each Monday as a recap to the Wizard Wednesday, the House of Wizards, 5 different FRWC “Guilds”, Baby Wizards, the Runiverse Game and FRWC IRL events. We also highlight a FRWC member each week with a brief Q and A session to bring forth fun details about our actual token holders. These holders are not your Honorary Wizard / Warrior holders but normal community members putting their mark on the door in every day life in the cult. We also would like to expand the show to feature community art / lore / commissions in a more detailed way be getting the story on how the commissions came about, what is involved and a background on the artist. We have not yet filmed a segment on it, but it is high on priority list. The project stems from the early work Bonzo did recapping the FRWC Wizard Wednesdays in late 2021 – early 2022. Due to the huge time commitment of editing and compiling, he had to put down the Recap and focus on specific FRWC member interviews and other projects. We understand the ever evolving nature of the FRWC, the addition of beast and warriors and it really has become a huge community for content and we feel that it would serve our talents and leave our mark on the door to cover these ancillary events more in depth than what WW can provide.

Our show length is typically from 15 –35 minutes long depending on what we have to cover. I anticipate it will get longer as more content is covered. I have provided a link for our first show. Shows 2,3, and 4 have not been released as we are behind in editing. This is where this proposal comes in.

To highlight cult content in a VLOG / Podcast each Monday to provide exposure to our members and highlight news and events from our Guilds, and promote the art and lore that is generated by the FRWC.

What are the goals of this project and how does it benefit the Cult?

To be a voice for everything going on with FRWC with the MM product itself, the House of Wizards, our Guilds, our close projects such as Baby Wizards and Minecraft worlds (Merlin), the Runiverse game and highlight cult members in a spotlight and bring more information to the Ledgendarium as this project grows. We are out here to build cult content. There is no monetary reward for this. We want to produce this as a way to contribute to the community."

Proposal Specification

"We have set up the process to include 1 show a week. We usually film on Thursday – Friday. We strive to put together the content by the following Monday. We may “delay” a week and cover the previous week the following Monday if our editing proposal needs more time. We have the art, the video setup, the channel already established. We have a Discord Channel where we collaborate with anyone who wants to help with this show and welcome FRWC participants! What is the ask?

We need a professional dedicated person to edit and compile the video. The time commitment is too great for us to create the content and then edit and format it. We are asking for funds to hire a part time video editor so that we can focus on filming, interviewing and covering the art for the videos. We do not anticipate to have more than 3-4 hours of editing time billed a week. Our initial projection is to pay a contractor $25 –35 and hour or no more than $150 a week.

As of 05/27/2022 We have enough filmed material to have the editor start immediately. We have had a few interested individuals contact us about being hired and we have developed a short application and already received a few completed ones! We will most likely go ahead and select our candidate over the 05/28 - 06/01/2022 time frame and begin work immediately to catch up. Our Proposed funding time line would be from 06/1/2022 to 07/01/2022 (4 weeks). Monday !Magic Memos will go ahead and pay the editor for their work and we seek reimbursement from the HOW paid by crypto at the end of the initial month and each subsequent month if we get extended! Total is $150 a week or $600 a month at the end of the month whatever the value of $600 usd is in crypto. In event there are 5 weeks in a month we will seek an addendum to cover that extra week maybe possibly through an administrative exception or a ""draw"" to the agreed upon funding schedule. We will furnish all documents (receipt) related to the work produced and paid for by the editor to make sure everyone is good! "

Funding Requested

$600 each month (4 weeks) after the conclusion of that month (4 weeks) payable to a determined crypto address that will be monies reimbursed to MMM for the payment of the video editor. The ask is for a 1 month trial period and then if the Ledgendarium would like to continue support we can extend on a month to month basis.

Additional Comments & Notes

We feel that this is a relatively simple request and a very meager amount to help get our MMM episodes to the finish line each week. The 3 core producers volunteer our time to do this and we do this because we want to bring the news to the Ledgendarium as a way to use our talents. Thank you HOW for this opportunity!
