Fund the role of the Scribe

The Forgotten Council would like to hire a Scribe to help execute community initiatives and ensure transparency between the Forgotten Council (DAO Council), the Ministries (SubDAOs), and the House of Wizards (Cult’s overall DAO).

The Forgotten Council is currently made of volunteers. In order to serve the community consistently and ensure complete transparency in all discussions and activities happening within the House, we need a Scribe to be our anchor.

Key responsibilities:

• Attend weekly Forgotten Council Meetings (1 hour/week), take meeting notes, and coordinate weekly meeting agendas
• Maintain an accounting ledger of all transactions that flow through the House, visible to the whole community
• Manage the House of Wizards’ Discord channel, answering questions, making announcements, and surfacing topics to the Council.
• Keep the House’s documentation up-to-date
• Support the Ministry of Art as it gets off the ground and begins commissioning projects
• Anything else to be an effective representative and advocate for our beloved Wizard community

Expected time commitment: 10 hours/week to start with potential for more as the DAO scales

Compensation: $50/hour (in ETH) paid twice a month

We would like to allocate 10 ETH (calculated using 15 hours/week for flexibility on hours and volatility) to finance this role for six months starting now until the end of September 2022. The entirety of the funds will be spent on compensation for this role. If approved, the Forgotten Council will share the official job description and hire as soon as possible.
