FIP007 Distribution Snapshot

This proposal is a follow-up on FIP006 on the RFV distribution. The proposal aims to decide on the requirements to redeem the RFV.

The consideration for this proposal is to decide if a snapshot is required to redeem the value. The choices for this proposal will be

• A snapshot of staked fort token
• No snapshot, any holders of staked fort can redeem

Note:

• Redemption can only be made by swapping staked fort.
• If a holder sold staked fort after the snapshot, the eligible amount will be unaffected.
• If a snapshot is chosen, the snapshot will be made publicly available in discord.
• If a snapshot is chosen, the date of snapshot will be decided on discord poll (See #FIP007 for discussion)

An explanation for snapshot redemption: Holder A has 100 staked fort at the point of snapshot. Holder A can redeem the value of 100 staked fort (100 * RFV) by swapping up to 100 staked fort.

For the choice of token to be redeemed, an informal discussion is in the discord channel for FIP006. It is agreed that no formal vote will be required, and a poll on discord will suffice.
