FIP001: Implement Warmup for Staking

This proposal is to decide on whether to implement warmup for new stakes.

During a warmup, stakers will still earn rewards but the reward will only be realized after the warmup and will be forfeited if users exit the warmup prematurely.

Motivation

There are pros and cons for implementing warmup.

Pros

• Reduce sell pressure from rebase as there is a delay to receive rewards
• Incentivizes holding as every new stake will result in a new warmup

Cons

• Confusing for new users which can deter them
• Can be misunderstood as a locking up of funds
• May be obsolete after warmup period, users can sell rewards after warmup is over

Quorum Standards

The option with at least 75% of votes will be adopted.

Options

• Implement a 24 hour warmup
• Continue as is with no warmup
