SUMMARY

The time has come for a massive DOT free for all! 32 DOTs enter, 1 DOT leaves. This proposal seeks to permit the Multi-sig members of the Founder’s DAO to engage with the multi-sig FoundersDAO wallet (Wallet: 0x580A96BC816C2324Bdff5eb2a7E159AE7ee63022) to transfer MP2s, as determined in this proposal to the “DOT Madness” wallet (0x84B65890dfc325Ab9Fa90523e82F30E2af2c6570) managed by Potamus to evolve additional DOT(s) to EVO6 based on Pixel Vault Founders DAO voting.

ABSTRACT

What: The PVFD will use a survival pool competition to engage the Pixel Vault community with a one-time entertaining event centered around DOTs. The multi-sig team, the FoundersDAO wallet, the Founders DAO communications committee, Potamus, and Rolldawg will be responsible for the actions in this proposal.

Why: The final EVO of DOTs is fast approaching, which is the last time the Founders DAO can align a community event to coincide with a known DOT event of Pixel Vault’s. The FD will capitalize on and enhance the momentum around EVO6 with a fun activity that leverages assets we have on hand. The FD currently has roughly 6300 MP2 and is only currently slated to have two EVO6 DOTS. The FD can utilize a fraction of the MP2s in the vault to add additional EVO6 DOT(s) to the vault. Creating an additional EVO6 DOT(s) will allow the FD to participate in the final known anomaly event. The survivor pools will be seeded specifically to allow new back-trait DOTs* to be eligible to win the survivor pool, maximizing the variety of DOTs in the FD vault. *Based on evolving DOT#1 and DOT Madness the FD vault will have a Terraformer and either a Subscripter or Bard. This proposal aims to avoid adding another EVO6 with these back traits.

How:

1. Upon approval the multi-sig wallet will transfer the appropriate amount of MP2 to Potamus (wallet: 0x84B65890dfc325Ab9Fa90523e82F30E2af2c6570): 1 Survivor Pool = 32 MP2 2 Survivor Pools = 64 MP2 3 Survivor Pools = 96 MP2

2. Potamus will evolve all allocated MP2 to EVO1.

3. If multiple Survival Pools are implemented Rolldawg will allocate DOTs to the various pools to allow for balance and to reduce the chance of multiples of a winning back-trait.

4. Once the Survivor Pools are set the PVFD communications committee will run the voting. The voting duration will conclude with sufficient time to allow the evolution of the winning DOT(s) prior to the anomaly event.

5. When voting has concluded the Communications Committee will provide Potamus with a list of the winning DOTs* and Potamus will upgrade the list of winners.

6. At the conclusion of EVO6 Potamus will transfer the DOT(s) and any unused ETH back to the FoudersDAO wallet.

7. MP2 compensation will be distributed to Potamus & Rolldawg.

*If a “Rescue” option is agreed upon eligible DOTs will be returned to the FD wallet and replaced with MP2s. Eligible DOTs to be saved are 3+ matching traits, 4T/8T, and ear trait DOTs. (Rescue is the same concept as “Tampering” from the DOT Madness proposal)

Who: Multi-sig team will be responsible for executing any transactions leaving the FoundersDAO wallet. Potamus will execute MP2 to DOT mints, DOT evolutions, and transactions. PVFD will vote on the survivor pool(s). PVFD Communications Committee will proctor the voting and promotion of the event and inform Potamus of the results of community voting. Rolldawg will create the Survivor Pools to optimize balance, reduce the opportunity of a duplicate back-trait to enter the vault, and provide oversight to all aspects of the DOT Survivor Pool.

Potamus & Rolldawg will be compensated with two MP2 each.

Where: Transactions will take place in Potamus’s wallet until the conclusion of the Pool(s), at which time all assets will be transferred back to the FoundersDAO wallet. Voting on the pool will take place via discord with an announced deadline.

POSITIVES

Capitalize on the hype and momentum of the DOTs EVO6 event. This gives an additional event for the PVFD to directly participate in and for the Pixel Vault community as a whole to indirectly participate in pool winner reveals, evolution reveals, and potential anomaly reveals.

RISKS

Trust in Potamus with FD assets leads to inherent risk that cannot be completely mitigated in a web3 environment. Potamus is however a trusted member of the PV community and an employee of PV. Gas will be spent on the transfer and evolution of assets. There is no guaranteed return on investment of burning MP2s for the evolution of DOTs including gas required to execute these transactions, however, EVO6(s) will be returned to the Founders DAO wallet that will represent an equal number of fragments used during the evolution process of the DOT Survivor Pool. By the nature of the pool mechanism and for ease of execution, “desirable” DOTs have the potential to be burned based on the voting of the community. Compensation in the form of MP2 will be spent and will not have a tangible return to the Founders DAO.

OVERVIEW

Allocate and Transfer 32/64/96 MP2 to execute a survivor pool that the PVFD will vote on. The evolution will take place prior to the anomaly event to ensure participation in it. The PVFD Communications Committee will run the voting. Potamus will execute transactions. Rolldawg will provide oversight to the process and ensure deadlines are adhered to and executed smoothly.

Choice #1 costs 36 MP2 (32 to burn/evolve & 4 for compensation). Will yield 1 EVO6 DOT for the Founders DAO. Choice #2 costs 36 MP2 (32 to burn/evolve + rescue swaps & 4 for compensation). Will yield 1 EVO6 DOT for the Founders DAO and the possibility of “rescued” DOTs. See above in the HOW section for specifications of rescuing DOTs. Choice #3 costs 68 MP2 (64 to burn/evolve & 4 for compensation). Will yield 2 EVO6 DOTs for the Founders DAO. Choice #4 costs 68 MP2 (64 to burn/evolve + any rescue swaps & 4 for compensation). Will yield 2 EVO6 DOTs for the Founders DAO and the possibility of redeemed DOTs. See above in the HOW section for specifications of rescuing DOTs. Choice #5 costs 100 MP2 (96 to burn/evolve + rescue swaps & 4 for compensation). Will yield 3 EVO6 DOT for the Founders DAO and the possibility of redeemed DOTs. See above in the HOW section for specifications of rescuing DOTs. Choice #6 Costs nothing, and nothing will happen. Choice #7 Abstain to vote, but you will be included to meet quorum.
