Love Fest at FWB Fest 2024 includes an Impact Fund, to be distributed to a philanthropic organization, chosen by the FWB community, and an Impact Session, with discussions around ways to improve how we actually do the work to improve people’s lives.
Bruxa: Dedicated to wine, Earth Healing, and reciprocity, Bruxa currently produces programming and education for Endaoment.org and co-created Thirsty Thirsty, a food & wine DAO. She is the child of her ancestors, and deeply informed by her Tupinambá heritage.
BorrowLucid: While raising her son in the Wild West, Christina is building Chones and nurturing the Infinite Garden.
Demonstrate how impact can be woven into everything we do and make.
Cross-pollinate intentionally, so that it’s easy for the community to bring together knowledge and experience to improve how we care for humanity.
Fest is so ripe with connection, imagine what we could do together when we focus on impact.
Fundraise for community selected orgs in an innovative, onchain way that facilitates genuine impact (aka money) for nonprofits
With an Impact Fund integrated in Fest, FWB will be able to demonstrate valuable metrics on how the community is genuinely giving back and acting with the highest intentions.
With Impact sessions during Fest, experts in the impact and public goods space will bring their knowledge and experience into conversations throughout the entire festival, giving meaningful perspective to FWB members.
Since FWB has demonstrated more success with fulfillment than some of the impact communities have, when FWB members choose to collaborate with impact initiatives, it is expected that these initiatives will see more success, of which metrics the DAO can use as validation when potential partners are considering sponsorship ROI.
Love Fest is a combination of an Impact Fund and a collection of Impact Sessions. The Impact Fund will come from a percentage of ticket sales and will be distributed to a non profit of the DAO’s choosing and facilitated onchain by Endaoment. The Impact Session will include topics around public goods, impact and intention, and will occur in a similar setting as Required Reading.
If you would like to contribute to Love Fest, please message in the forum thread in FWB Discord.
Impact Fund:
$5,000 from Fest ticket sales will go into a fund.
The fund will be donated to Nour Charitable Society - Founded in 2015 in the West Bank, NCS works to rehabilitate disabled Palestinian women and children. Due to the current crisis, their work has shifted to civilian medical aid.

Fest is this amazing experience for a lot of people to connect and celebrate, but it's missing this very important piece that we need to always consider as members of humanity on our planet.
Adding an impact session is not an enormous cost, especially since the infrastructure is already there and so are the voices. It’s about coordination. It also adds a bit more validity to Fest, to ensure it's not just a party or a shill fest. Fest stretches beyond pay to play. The more we bring innovators, in power and access, together with those who are doing the grassroots work, or have the relationships on the ground, the sooner we can arrive at meaningful systems. We want to move beyond intention and generate actual impact.
