Summary

Expense Categories

• Contributor payments: payments to staff and contributor teams including staff, product, marketing, editorial, treasury, membership, and governance.

• Admin expenses: Admin expenses such as payments for Notion, Zapier, Airtable, Zoom, and Gmail.

• Events: Events such as FWB coffee time, FWB health time, food with beverage, Seed Club event, FWB radio time, FWB stonks.

The October budget anticipates four large projects potentially coming to completion so compensation to contributors will be due.

Overages

• Back compensation owed to some contributors for contributions dating back as far as June including for Paris Zine, Coffee Time Events, & Product totaling approximately $69K between $FWB tokens & USDC. We anticipate this being a one time event as we look to bring all payables current.

• An increase in the number of contributors across the Membership, Fellowships, Treasury, & Editorial pools totaling approximately 19,000 USDC worth of $FWB token compensation.

• An increase in USDC comp for some FT/PT contributors in lieu of receiving additional compensation in a fixed number of $FWB tokens per month totaling approximately 16,000 USDC.

• An additional contributor added to the Product team at 7500 USDC per month.

• Extension of @awisemaninnotion's scope of work on the FWB Notion in the amount of 2500 USDC.

Conclusion

September’s actual expenses add up to 1,484 FWB and 151,781 USDC. According to FWB's price as of Oct 2 2021, this is $338,260.

October’s proposed budget adds up to 700 FWB and 327,530 USDC. According to FWB's price as of October 2 2021, this is $55,595.
