This proposal looks to cover retroactive expenses for April as well as a monthly budget for May to the various working groups in the FWB community.
Provide the following compensation to various FWB contributors.
April Expenses Actuals | (Retroactive)
May Expenses Budgeted | (Recurring Operating Expenses)
In total, this proposal looks to allocate 4425 FWB, 7500 USDC and 12 ETH to 32 unique FWB contributors.
The number listed next to each bucket defines the amount of contributors the allocations will be shared between.
FWB should continually empower those actively contributing to the community by going above and beyond participation in Discord.
Each of the line items described above is being applied retroactively, meaning all of the recipients of these allocations are based on past work already done for the community.
Moving forward, FWB should expect to vote on a monthly budget allocation at the beginning of each month - used to reimburse and compensate those for work from the month prior.
Since the treasury has diversification, FWB has access to a diverse pool of assets best used to engage and align core contributors.
Specific items - like committees - are expected to be a recurring allocation until stated otherwise.
Distribute 4425 FWB, 7500 USDC and 12 ETH to 32 unique FWB contributors.
The breakdown of the various allocations is summarized as follows:
Host Committee (12) - 600 FWB (monthly)
The host committee contains 12 FWB members who filter, review, and approve all applicants in FWB. Additionally, the host committee are FWB’s eyes and ears for welcoming new community members, helping anyone with technical or wallet connecting issues, and also ensuring FWB is a fun and inclusive space.
Events & Program Hosts (14) - 515 FWB (monthly)
Over the last month, we’ve experimented with a series of FWB Clubs & Talks, from MAX PAIN, a weekly jam on market recaps and convictions with a degenerate/optimistic stock investor lens to FOOD WITH BEVERAGE, weekly culinary show educating members on the art behind food. We’d like to continue to empower hosts to bring ideas, experiment, try programmatic concepts within the Discord and outside the Discord. This FWB is the monthly reward for over 15 hosts and DJs to thank them for their support.
Gas Reimbursement (3) - 11.5 ETH (one time)
Ethereum gas is expensive. These costs are an aggregate of all transactions used to deploy FWB Pro contracts, distribute the airdrop, set up Gnosis Safe multisigs for Treasury Diversification and distribute SourceCred rewards. A full breakdown of these transactions will be shared in the Discord.
Friends.With.Rats Vault Reimbursement (1) - 0.5 ETH
Distributed to the Friends.With.Rats for deployment costs of the FWA Vault.
SourceCred Distribution (1) - 815 FWB (one time)
Reimbursement to Staff for the Season One’s FWB Pro SoureCred distributions. This allocation is expected to be budgeted once per season.
February + March Coffee Time Reimbursement (2) - 900 FWB
Reimbursement to the Coffee Time crew for hosting budget and allocations distributed to guests. Moving forward, Coffee Time allocations will be slotted into the “Events & Programming” bucket.
FWB Onboarding Explainer Video (2) - 100 FWB
Allocated to two community members for producing an FWB explainer video to ease with FWB onboarding, expected to go live in the coming weeks.
Governance Committee (3) - 150 FWB (monthly)
Our newest committee, the Governance committee, will help build the governance roadmap that governs the FWB community. Made up of partial staff and partial members, the Governance committee will review proposals, craft proposals (like this one), educate members and enhance a sense of citizenry. Only non-staff members will earn a recurring FWB allocation.
Staff Salaries (1) - 7500 USDC
Starting May 1st, FWB will be bringing on a full time staff member to lead product development, community engagement, and overall strategy in collaboration with existing staff, the various committees, and the DAO at large as we mature from 7 part time vigilantes into a fully functioning team with a community driven roadmap that we can execute against.
The candidate filling that role is zhang - @alexxzzhang who’s been advising the FWB Staff for the last 2 months and comes from over 7 years in community building experiences. Most notably for the last 4 years, he was the Creative Director, President, and a Partner at Summit, a community company that hosted global events around the world for a community of 20,000 people as well as owners of Powder Mountain, a crowd funded ski resort development project.
