Funanas Mint

Hello everyone,

This poll will give us an indication as to the best action the team should take when it comes to the Funanas contract. As some of you may have realised, the contract is not gas optimised due to an incompetent developer we hired outside of our team through Freeflow.

As a result, gas costs are very high when purchasing on Opensea. We have been trying to find the best solution to the issue and as always, we are transparent about these situations with our community and always will be.

We were thinking about airdropping the NFTs to every holder. However, the costs to this would be around 7-10 ETH, which means it is not a viable option.

We have two possible solutions: 1- Keep the old contract and multipliers (metadata/image will be changed to "NOT GAS OPTIMISED"). New additional contract/contract will be launched, holders will be able to claim for FREE (just pay gas). This way you get to keep your old Funanas, but will also be able to trade an additional 10k collection with optimised gas fees. 2- Don't keep old contract and multipliers (metadata/image will be changed to "DO NOT BUY"). Launch a new contract with a 20k supply. First 10k will be allocated exactly 1-for-1 to the holders for FREE (just pay gas). Second 10k supply will cost $2.5 each to mint and 100% of mint revenue will go to purchasing more $APE and a MAYC.

Whatever is not minted within the given time frame (e.g. 7 days) will be added as a paid mint at $2.5 each (half the price of initial mint). 100% of mint revenue and secondary sales royalties will go back to the community.
