RIP-16 (FUSE) Add INV to Fuse Pool 3

Voting ended almost 5 years agoSucceeded

Summary:

This proposal is to request the addition of INV to Fuse Pool 3 as collateral and borrowable asset.

Background:

INV is the governance token of Inverse.Finance, a growing ecosystem of financial protocols including:

  • DCA Vaults: passive no-loss investment in any token by following a Dollar-Cost Averaging strategy using stablecoin yield.

  • Anchor Protocol: a money market protocol similar to Maker, Compound and Synthetix that facilitates capital efficient lending & borrowing via the issuance of tokenized synthetic credit (eg DOLA) & non-synthetic credit (eg supplied tokens).

Holders accumulating INV can participate in the governance of the Inverse.Finance DAO.

The INV token address is 0x41d5d79431a913c4ae7d69a668ecdfe5ff9dfb68 on the Ethereum mainnet.

Abstract:

Adding the INV token to Fuse Pool 3 as a collateral and borrowable asset diversifies the protocol's offerings to its user base.

Proposed market parameters:

  • IRM: cream - speculative - + 25% (reference RIP-13)
  • Collateral factor: 35%
  • Reserve Factor: 30%

Motivation:

Strong demand for holding this token makes it an excellent choice as a collateral and borrowable asset.

– Rari Capital would become the second protocol to allow the collateral use of INV. – As of the time of writing, there are 2,387 INV holders, circulating supply is 38,963 / 100,000, market cap is $37,931,715. – Primarily trades on Uniswap. Strong trading volume - an average of ~$2.5m every 24 hours (INV-ETH pool).

For:

The INV token is added to Fuse Pool 3 as a collateral and borrowable asset.

Against:

The INV token is not added.
