Allowlist Harvest on Fuse

Voting ended over 4 years agoSucceeded

Summary

Enable Harvest Finance to create a Fuse pool for borrowing against Harvest assets. Harvest will promote Fuse as the premier way to borrow against Harvest assets and will provide incentives to bootstrap the Harvest Fuse pool as-needed.

This proposal will improve capital efficiency for Harvest asset holders, drive TVL to Rari Fuse, and generate more fees for the Rari DAO.

Background

Harvest is a yield aggregator with operations primarily based on Ethereum. Harvest saves users time and money by finding and vetting farming opportunities, batching transactions, and automatically compounding returns on over $300mm in deposits across a wide range of assets. Fees from vault profits are shared with FARM holders who deposit into the iFARM profitsharing vault. Learn more at https://harvest.finance

The most-requested feature from FARM holders is the ability to borrow against their holdings, improving the capital efficiency of holding FARM. Rari Fuse is the perfect platform for creating and managing a money market for this purpose.

Money markets are often challenged by a cold-start problem of building enough borrowable deposits to kickstart usage. Harvest has deep experience in incentive bootstrapping and liquidity management and will work with FARM holders, the Harvest treasury, and yield-seeking depositors to bootstrap the Harvest lending pool. Harvest will collect feedback on Fuse from users and community contributors and provide this feedback to Rari for discussion and consideration.
