[GP38] Galxe Contributor Program (Space Cadets) Rewards for Q1 2025

Abstract

This proposal seeks funding for the Galxe Contributor Program Rewards for Q1 (January, February, March) of 2025. Building upon the program's continued success, we aim to sustain recognition and incentives for active participants in the Contributor Program, known as Space Cadets. The initiative remains crucial for fostering engagement, community growth, education, and a sense of responsibility within the Galxe ecosystem.

Motivation

The Contributor Program has played a significant role in expanding and strengthening the Galxe community. In 2024, the Space Cadet program saw remarkable contributions, and sustaining these efforts is essential to ensuring ongoing engagement and participation. Key achievements from previous years include:

• Thousands of applications received from various countries.
• Steady growth in the number of active Space Cadets.
• A high volume of community support tickets resolved.
• Significant contributions to social media presence and engagement.
• Numerous community-driven events and initiatives.

To build on this success, we propose extending the rewards program into Q1 2025 with a structured incentive model to maintain and enhance contributions.

Specification

Overview

For Q1 2025, the rewards program will continue with manual contribution tracking, internal evaluation, and G token distribution based on performance. We will also incorporate community feedback to refine and enhance the program.

Scope

This proposal includes the following key elements:

1. Extending the Contributor Program rewards into Q1 2025.
2. Maintaining the Space Cadet program and encouraging new and existing members to participate actively.
3. Continuously collecting community feedback and making necessary improvements to the program.

Success Criteria

The successful execution of this proposal will result in:

• Continued recognition and rewards for Contributors, fostering higher engagement levels.

Timeline/Budget

For Q1 2025, we propose a total reward allocation of $20,000 USD equivalent of G tokens per month, distributed as follows:

• January 2025 → $20,000 USD equivalent in G tokens
• February 2025 → $20,000 USD equivalent in G tokens
• March 2025 → $20,000 USD equivalent in G tokens

Total requested budget for Q1 2025: $60,000 USD equivalent in G tokens

The implementation will begin upon Snapshot approval, with rewards distributed monthly at the end of each month in Q1 2025.
