GameSwift DAO, as an independent and self-governing organization, which believes in the core idea behind blockchain technology, is officially proposing the adoption of the GameSwift DAO Constitution as the initial step towards gradually decentralizing the GS Community ecosystem.

SUMMARY

As part of ongoing efforts to increase the decentralization of the GameSwift Community ecosystem and empowerment of the DAO members, GameSwift DAO is transitioning to an on-chain voting system. This will allow the $GSWIFT holders, who choose to use certain services available on the GS Community website, to participate in the governance process using blockchain technology securely.

We strongly believe, that the Constitution is the crucial step to ensure the creation of fully decentralized and democratic space for all of our Community members. As such, this Constitution will establish rules and principles for our Community, covering the submission of proposals for voting, the voting process, and the management of $GSWIFT tokens.

Constitution is just the beginning - as our goal is to direct our activities fully towards the needs of our Community, we anticipate that in future votings, the DAO will democratically decide on various matters such as the composition of the DAO security board/council, the amount of $GSWIFT to burned versus kept on the market, and the next steps, which will ensure the continued successful development of our common cause.
