1 关于DAO Asia Summit

Pagoda 即將在 11 月10日 (DevCon) 前夕和 Metagov、DAOStar、Digital Asia Hub 等國際學術組織共同籌組 DAO Asia Summit。目標為啟動亞洲地區學術和政策領域中對新形態組織的討論，進而推動分散式組織在亞洲地區推動的正當性。本次全天活動將以邀請制進行，邀請歐美 Metagov 網絡學術專家與亞洲學術、政策工作實務者交流，最多與會人數不超過 50 人，進行策略性的交流。

本次活動將為首次 DAO 進入亞洲的學術政策研討會，我們期待以研討會為開端，開啟亞洲地區學術圈和政府對 DAO 的認知。這將會是將亞洲論述帶入全球 DAO 及分散式治理脈絡的重要會議，以此為開端，有機會翻轉全球對亞洲發展相對貧瘠的印象，並藉此讓更多亞洲分散制式組織工作者浮上國際舞台。其中，華語區為亞洲分散式組織發展的重要據點，華語區組織也將有機會被國際工作者看到。

本次活動為 Metagov、Pagoda 及 Digital Asia Hub 三個組織的合作的項目，活動主要負責人為 Dev Lewis 和 Sam Chua。

合作組織介紹：

Metagov: Metagov is a laboratory for digital governance. Its mission is to cultivate tools, practices, and communities that enable self-governance in the digital age. Its vision centers on working toward a governance layer for the internet that is empowering, creative, interconnected, and accountable.
Pagoda: Pagoda is an assembly of Asian visionaries amplifying regional impact and fostering global collaboration within the Ethereum community.
Digital Asia Hub: The Digital Asia Hub is an independent, non-profit Internet and society research think tank based out of Hong Kong, with a regional remit. Incubated by The Berkman Klein Center for Internet and Society at Harvard University and a diverse group of academic, civil society, and private sector partners, the Hub provides a non-partisan, open, and collaborative platform for research, knowledge sharing and capacity building related to Internet and Society issues with focus on digital Asia.

Dev Lewis: Dev Lewis is a researcher, podcaster, and convener at the intersections of digital technology (Web2 & 3), law and policy, geopolitics, and authentic living. His podcast Light Forest explores the roots of global crises through Asian philosophical lenses. As a Fellow with Digital Asia Hub he organizes convening and has published writing on AI governance, Social Credit System and Data governance in China, and China-India relations. He is a member of the Pagoda Network and a Kernel Fellow.
Sam Chua: Cultural entrepreneur and indie consultant interested in human systems and growing the world’s working imagination. Stewarding the Digital Humanities Un-College and Seapunk Playshop. More at samuelchua.com.
