Behind The Lights X Gutter Gang

Hey Gang. My name is Ty Buttrey I’ve been a gutter member for the last 7 months. I currently own 2 sets and believe in this project and team more than anything. I know everyone says this but I truly do lol.

Regardless i appreciate everything that you all are doing and it’s fun to see the next Disney form in front of my eyes… I played professional baseball for the last 9 years. I spent 5 years with the Red Sox in the minor leagues and 2 and half years with the LA Angels in the MLB. I actually retired this last season to pursue other passions and I guess “find” myself you could say.

My wife, Samantha Buttrey, and I created a non profit that focuses on 4 main pillars. Our goal is to teach and help under privileged area around the whole world financial literacy, social media experience, athletic skill development and mental skills tactics.

We promise to work and build this non profit so that anyone in the world has access to these tools. Playing in the MLB and retiring has taught me a lot about myself and how important having a community that supports you is. I want to help other kids achieve this same feeling…

We have already launched a camp in the US Virgin Islands… We have a great relationship with the government and staff of the USVI and we hope that Gutter Gives would be interested in helping us create an opportunity not just in Saint Croix but all of the USVI and the honestly the rest of the world.

This camp actually changed my perspective on baseball a lot and I’ve been training in houston and will be going back to the MLB. Looking forward to hopefully working with the Gutter 😼💯
