I think in order to be successful, the project needs to become valuable. No token sale can bring a real value. So, my proposal is: — create a program to reward mainnet operators — distribute part of the tokens for free to early adopters — create a list of tasks for marketing and development purposes on gitcoin.co to move faster with development
On one hand, delaying token sale as much as possible, makes sense because only belivers will be using the project, and allowing them to do it for free is very nice. On the other hand, node operators need some guarantees. I can suggest something like having two tokens: first one is purely utility token, and allows hopr to be valuable. You can never ever buy or sell it. Second token is tradable. You can swap it to the utility token, but not visa-versa. So, having that, early adopters should receive heavy airdrops in the utility token currency, and mainnet operators will receive tradable ones. Testnet participants should receive tradable ones.
