GDIP - 06: Increased GENE Burn Rate for Genesis NFT Drop

Summary: Should the DAO increase GENE burn rate to 20% for DNA kits sold during the Geneticats Sale?

In accordance for GenomesDAO docs, for every whole-genome sequencing kit or NFT package sold through GenomesDAO will result in 10% of GENE tokens being burned. E.g., 1000 kits ordered at $500 each at launch rate would result in $50,000 worth of GENE tokens being burned.

In celebration of GenomesDAO's genesis NFT drop, we propose to increase this burn rate to 20% just for the kits sold through the Geneticats NFT campaign.

The burning of tokens benefits GENE holders as it decreases the total supply of GENE tokens in existence.

Please vote: Yes = Increase the GENE burn rate to 20% for the kits sold during the Geneticats sale. No = Leave the GENE burn rate at 10%.
