Decide on rewards for first paid queries

Voting ended almost 3 years agoSucceeded

Summary

A vote to decide how much GENE in $ value, we should offer each user to query their Genome for a long COVID marker test.

Details

GenomesDAO allows users to accept paid queries on their genome. We will be allowing pharma companies and research organisations to send offers attached to queries.

All queries that are executed will be paid for the query in our utility token GENE. As such. If a pharma company wants to make $1 million worth of queries (eg. 10,000 queries * $100/query), there will be a purchase of $1 million worth of GENE.

In order to demonstrate this functionality to pharma and research organisations, the GenomesDAO would like to run a query. This is an arbitrary query (Do you express the genetic markers associated with long COVID - we will pay you $XXX worth of GENE in exchange for this data). If users accept they will receive the GENE and the report. The DAO will also receive the anonymised data. We will use the result of this query to demonstrate that the system works and give some expectation of response.

There are several hundred genomes in vaults at GenomesDAO. We would like to offer everybody the query and 100 responses would be a great result. Therefore the number of GENE we offer people will be GENE from the DAO's allocation. If 100 people respond, this would be the following value of GENE based on the voting options

100 * $10 = $1000 100 * $50 = $5000 100 * $10 = $10000

Of course, if 250 people accept, these numbers go up by a factor of 2.5.
