Single staking GENE on Camelot Dex on Arbitrum

Summary. This GDIP aims to have the DAO vote on whether we provide rewards for solo staking GENE on Camelot DEX on Arbitrum

Details.

Rewarding long term commitment is something we very much encourage. We know we have community members who have held their GENE and GNOME since inception, over 1 year ago.

We allow users to vote on proposals by locking GNOME. We will continue to add utility for veGNOME. This removes circulating supply in exchange for benefits for the locker.

As we begin to work with B2B customers, the demand for GENE will grow. We want to encourage long term GENE holders and can provide GNOME rewards to give users more strength in the DAO.

Camelot DEX allows rewards for single staking and locking periods.

We propose rewards for single staking of GENE, locked for 1 year. We propose 365,000 GNOME rewards for those who stake and lock their GENE for 1 year - with rewards harvesting activated after 50 days.
