Vote Time.

Metawin wants a feed channel in the discord - they want to be able to post their competitions and their winners using a bot.

We only considered this since he has been involved in the community since the beginning and has been a major financial contributor.

Even if the vote passes it would not be an official Collaboration, however, it would mean that he gets that channel in our discord.

Remember, we are Genuine Undead.

We are genuine.

For this vote it will be token weighted.

We will then have a subsequent vote to vote if votes should be token weighted, have thresholds or One wallet one Vote. But we will deal with that later.

Let's get this out the way.

So in terms of a proposal. I think we keep it simple and work up.

There’s a lot of value I can generate from working with the GU IP itself but that’s a conversation for further down the line.

I feel MetaWin has been an obvious catalyst for the interest in GU. From the early sweeps, to the contests, the Lou sweep, Holo sweep, 1/1 sweeps, 12eth rebase of chaos, 8eth sale of love, 8eth purchase of war, burning of war and most recently 11 cyber ninjas at 1 eth each.

We’ve seen this events increase the average purchase price stats massively over small periods of time. These stats are what tips off the alpha groups and whales to check out collections and of course we have played a major role in that to date.

A community should be fun and entertaining and our giveaways only added to the surprise elements. Remember we did a lot for free and have gated a bunch for GU’s only adding utility and value to the community.

We also are now seeing a new trend. MetaWin has grown a lot, up 4 x alone in 2 days and now we see whales joining. One whale with a 30eth balance won a GU a couple of days ago. Bored ape holders are joining and seeing GU so our primary objective or widening the investor base is being met.

We only have 100 games weekly on the site. If 10 are GU that drives us to pick up 10 new pieces every week.

I’ve never asked anything of the community except to be treated the same as everyone else. Somewhere down the line I was alienated because of my ownership of MetaWin and that wasn’t fair. But I understand you value my involvement and perhaps we should have spoken more about how to structure things sensibly.

Smaller Web3 companies will only grow via collabs. I was offered value by making GU the launch collection of my tech startup and getting the newer community excited about the different traits along the way.

I think we could still benefit each other greatly going forward and I think we should get aligned but we should do it slowly and build up that trust factor between the community and any collab not just MW.

I propose we add a MetaWin channel to GU discord. The channel would bot publish the GI game entries, new game launches and winners. A simple bot that posts a feed in a visually pretty way.

On my side I’d like the freedom to involve myself in the community on the basis that sometimes i mention MetaWin. Freedom of speech is important and I wouldn’t just roll in talking up every game. However, if I sweep 11 GU’s, I feel like I should be able to hop on the main channel and talk about the purchase. People were genuinely into the MW/GU informal connection and a lot didn’t understand why it went away or why I was exiled.

That being said in the earlier days all we had on the site was GU games so I probably talked about it a bit too much. Ultimately you have a startup founder in the room, I couldn’t imagine having a chat with Elon that didn’t involve cars or rockets and for me if I’m in GU and I have a free Holo game kicking off I totally should be able to bring that value and opportunity to the guys in the chat without getting banned or kicked.

Before I posted every winner etc, on reflection probably a bit much but things have moved on a lot now and the site has gained the trust of 5300 users reducing my need to show people who won every 5 mins. Back then I was being called a scam and spent a lot do my time showing people who won the GU especially if he wasn’t in the discord.

My proposal going forward is simple

1. Let’s add MW bot to a dedicated discord channel. This way I don’t have to say this guys won or there’s a new game… it’s in the right place.

2. Let’s relax the freedom of speech controls on the main channel on the basis I’m sensible and am not just talking MetaWin. If someone legitimately asks about Metawin I shouldn’t be afraid to answer.

3. MW will commit to keep buying GU’s and put them in front of its audience. We are spending $4,000 a day on digital ads driving millions of eyeballs to our site the demand for games will increase. This weeks inventory purchase was 82 eth. Next week over 100.

4. We will also run NFT gated games just for the holders. adding value and short term utility to holders. This includes acquiring rare pieces and giving away 1/1’s.

If we can move forward on this basis I’ll have my cto talk to the discord dev to set the feed up and re-enter the sever.
