What is the Verse DEX

The Verse DEX is a full-featured decentralized exchange. It is a key component of the Bitcoin.com/Verse ecosystem, providing anyone in the world with a secure way to permissionlessly swap cryptocurrencies without having to rely on third-party custodians. As a liquidity provider, you are able to earn a share of trading fees by contributing to Verse DEX liquidity pools and earn additional rewards by depositing liquidity pool tokens in Verse Farms.

The Zano Community has bootstrapped US$18k worth of seed wZANO-USDT liquidity on the Verse DEX.

Proposal

We propose to create two new Verse farms to further incentivize participants from both Zano and Verse communities to provide liquidity on the Verse DEX for the wZANO-USDT pool, raising awareness of these projects across both ecosystems:

1. A first wZANO-USDT farm which distributes 13,462,936 VERSE (US$5,000/month) as rewards, which will run for 30 days. The VERSE rewards will be disbursed from the Verse Ecosystem incentives fund.

2. Subsequently, a second wZANO-USDT farm which distributes 1,404 wZANO (US$5,000) as rewards, which will run after the completion of the first farm.

Pros:

• Doing so will raise awareness of both projects amongst the respective communities
• Increased liquidity on the Verse DEX which facilitates wZANO-USDT decentralized swaps
• The Zano community will be activated into the Bitcoin.com wallet and Verse Ecosystem
• Zano holders will begin holding VERSE, and be able to participate within the Bitcoin.com and Verse ecosystem governance

Cons:

• VERSE rewards could be allocated to other initiatives
• Participants may be mercenary and not fully convert as long term users in the respective ecosystems

The voting period for this proposal will commence on 11 April and will conclude on 14 April. During this time, we encourage all members of the Verse community to express their preferences and actively contribute to this significant decision.
