What should the Total Supply of the Verse NFT’s be?

Introduction:

We are seeking community input on the total supply of the Verse NFTs. We are providing five options for the community to vote on.

Options:

1. Restricted to Verse Token Sale Participants: This option represents the smallest supply. NFT’s will only be eligible for mint by accounts who participated in Verse Token Sale A or B. With this option, we are unable to onboard new users to Verse via these NFTs.
2. 10,000 Total Supply: This option provides a high level of rarity, scarcity, and exclusivity for Verse NFTs while leaving some room for the public to mint from the total supply.
3. 25,000 Total Supply: This option strikes a balance between exclusivity and availability, providing a wider distribution while still maintaining a degree of scarcity. With this option, we should expect a much longer period for minting, which may provide more opportunities for users coming into crypto over the next year.
4. 50,000 Total Supply: A larger supply option that ensures a broader distribution of the NFTs, making them accessible to a greater number of community members. Scarcity is something we shouldn’t really consider as a feature at this level, though this may provide the most value to a growing community.
5. Infinite Supply: This option would mean there is no cap on the total supply of Verse NFTs. This ensures the highest level of accessibility as it allows for unlimited distribution. In this option there is no scarcity. Furthermore, beyond ~1 million mints, the probability of duplicate (non-unique) NFT is high.

Note: Voting is open to all Verse token holders. The weight of your vote is proportional to the amount of Verse tokens held in your wallet at the time of voting, as well as your total Verse Staked and Verse-ETH LP tokens that are deposited into Verse Dex Farms.

Voting Period: The voting period will be open for 30 days from the time this proposal is posted.
