🗳|GGG1-IP-2|Resolution to open a new business checking account at Mercury.com

Voting ended over 1 year agoSucceeded

Overview

As a startup, we have a need to open a business checking account for "pToken iD GGG0001 at East Lake PBC LCA" dba "GigsGoGreen RegenVillage at East Lake"

Proposal

We propose that Board of Stewards members: Jason Younker or Tyler Younker can open a business checking account at Mercury.com

Transferring of Funds

  1. Any transferring of funds greater than $1,000 in or out of this newly created account will require a separate proposal for authorization.
  2. This account will be used in conjunction with a "Private Raise" on AltoIRA.com. Any contributions made via that platform will automatically be deposited into this account.

Why Mercury.com?

  • Mercury.com has positioned itself as "Banking built for Web3 companies" (https://mercury.com/web3).
  • Has a Great rating on Trustpilot.com of 3.8 with 722 reviews
  • NerdWallet.com rating = 4.5

We have experience with Mercury.com via Web3 Freedom Club DAO (see proposal: 🗳|WIP-2|Resolution to open a new business checking account at Mercury.com for Web3 Freedom Club DAO LLC) and have enjoyed using this business checking account in 2024.

The bottom line: Mercury is a no-fee option aimed at startups and tech-focused businesses. And while its API access stands out among online-first banking platforms, so does its lack of cash deposits.
