Rationale: Ghosts Project is undoubtedly one of the global NFT projects with a pretty long history and a strong community, including Korea. Numerous activities such as derivative arts, content creation, community events, and IRL events have been created by “holders” through the community. One of these activities is “Ghoference,” which was planned through the Ghost-Study Room, the holder community of Ghosts Project. In 2022, Season 1 was successfully held with positive effects. Ghoference Season 1 aimed to understand the needs of people involved in NFT and Web3 and invited various speakers to hold the conference on various topics. In 2023, as the web3 market and the world economy entered a bear market, activities regarding NFT/Web3 significantly declined. But, Ghosts Project is also continually considering how to achieve value growth. From the holder’s perspective, the most critical factor for the NFT project’s growth is active participation from “Holders”, and I think “new users” entering our community and the Web3 ecosystem are essential. Therefore, through Ghoference Season 2, I prepared light topics and stories that anyone who has ever heard of blockchain/Web3/NFT might be curious about to reach more people and make the project and Web3 mass adoption and holder-driven growth. Previously, Ghoference Season 1 was planned and executed by holders’ personal time and cost without any financial support from the team. However, from now on, I decided to request a budget to expand the scale, allow more people to participate, and provide rewards to community members who actively participate in and initiate events or ideas as a starting point in Ghosts Project.

Timeline: I was preparing for the Ghoference Season 2 since January 2023. And it will be held on 26th March 2023.
