Deploy GiveStation on ZkSync

The testnet launch came with so many feedbacks and we appreciate the love and continual support we’ve gotten so far from grant creators and contributors.

Reason behind this motive:

Aside being a network that offloads Ethereum’s network traffic and relieves the mainnet of congestion, ZkSync transaction fees is low compared to other protocols and we thought it would be a perfect fit for a seamless experience for GiveStation as we expect a very high influx of user activity once we launch on mainnet.

Why Zksync?

Zksync significantly reduces gas costs without the sacrificing security or user control. The protocol gives you low gas - up to 1/100 of L1 gas & cheaper than using rollups. Its high speed is 2000+ transactions per second (tps) compared to 14tps on L1. This makes it perfect for creating or updating grants and donating to grants.
