Summary:

Proposal to extend my services to the DAO until 2025, September 29th. Amend working hours from 100hrs/month to 50hrs/month, at 30$/hr rate, starting 2024, September 29th.

How have you already contributed to the DAO?

Started volunteering at early DAO stages: became a mod late 21. Been in charge of creation/management/security of both studio and DAO discords since then. Creation/ratification of the governance process with the gov team. Shephered dozens of proposals through governance. I’m on retainer since April 22. My tasks were originally described in **GM 9.1 : hire Ze_Boubs as the DAO secretary/CM. Was made Board member of the gmDAO off-chain entity as the Secretary. In charge of supervising members subscriptions and KYC to the association, scheduling and hosting General Assemblies, writing minutes. Managed gm.studio’s instagram account, which includes working with the featured artists on appealing visuals, sharing content and key details around drops. Keep a beautiful, clean profile feed.

Worked on the gm.dao rebrand, by helping the supervision of the visual assets design, the renewed website and the migration of V2 tokens to v3 tokens.

How do you want to contribute to the DAO going forward ?

As we’re currently working in an environment where the NFT market is stagnant, there is a need for re-centering DAO expenses around our core needs, while being able to quickly turn-around should the situation change in the foreseeable future. For that reason, i volunteered myself for cutting my work hours by more than 50% from my first retainer, reducing the weight on the DAO’s burnrate while still being able to take care of my core duties.

Depending on what the urgent needs are, i’ll be able to switch my attention between my core duties with minimal friction, although my reduced hours may mean that it could take longer to get it done.

• Manage Discord community : moderation and administration of both DAO and studio discords , handle support and keep resources up to date all year long. Make myself fully available for crunch time around drops. Accompany artists from day 1 to post-drop community interactions on Discord.
• Manage DAO community / Secretary tasks: Maintain and promote a vibrant community and its initiatives, create visuals to highlight processes and increase participation. Capture feedback from members and make sure their sentiment is heard. Help to structure the dao into a self-sustainable organization, create effective processes (applications, how to join a work group, how to require funding). Keep track of every community initiative and how it’s going, help members go through the dao processes and accompany them to create work group/request funding. Track important updates/needs across the DAO. Write regular updates to keep members in touch with what is going on, what are the newest community initiatives, and how they can contribute.
• Track General Assembly members applications, organize the General Assembly meetings at least twice a year and more if requested. Write general assembly meetings reports and make it publicly available to members.
• Governance/side tasks : Ensure funding cycle calendar, DAO Proposal, contributors list and all associated Governance process pages in Notion are up to date. Shepherd proposals through the governance process by watching temperature checks in Discord, publish and alert about Snapshots. Initiate governance process updates when needed.
• Diverse admin tasks : Be available for any current needs.

Specifics:

I estimate the average workload to be around 1.5 to 2 hours /day, averaging 12 hrs/week. I don’t expect the NFT market to pick up significant pace in the next 12 months, which would require increased presence.

Ideally, my wage would be more flexible and keep track of my work hours every week. However, this would require additional paperwork, and i wouldn’t want to keep myself in a position where i can’t have visibility on my next payslip.

Impact on treasury. Default of my obligations under the terms of the agreed retainer.
