Proposal to use 3 community tokens for smart marketing purpose, gradually throughout the year 2023.
While being a token gated community is what slowly allowed us to create a healthy environment for our members, the downside is that we lack visibility in a more than ever attention economy. While we don’t want to focus on overhyping and attracting speculative fomoers, the more vocal and the more we increase our presence in the space, the more likely we are to onboard like-minded brilliant people who had never heard of us before.
We’ll use 3 community tokens in 3 very different ways :
Increased visibility on all socials, across artists, collectors, builders. These are more than basic engagement farming posts, which is more likely to bring smart eyes on us. Storytelling is a big thing in crypto and people LOVE treasure hunts, especially when it involves digging into the blockchain. Potential new ideas for revenue generating initiatives + onboard smart minds. It also brings a lot of topics that can be marketed in the soon-to-be weekly spaces and podcasts.
Biggest con i can see is people would eventually get the token and sell it right after. But is that even bad if it gets sold to someone that heard of us through the operation.
Hiding the token should be handled by 2 trusted person. I nominate myself and cyphr to get in charge. Running and spreading words about the competitions would be handled by part/full time employees so no extra cost for the DAO.
