Proposal date:

February 7th, 2022

Summary:

Enact a formal governance framework that we use to going forward. This framework encompasses the following:

  1. Drafting Documents and Proposals — Templates and tracker here.
  2. Voting Processes — temperature check via Discord poll first, followed by Snapshot, which needs to hit a 60% yes consensus to be passed.
  3. Governance Cycles — Based on feedback, set to 7 days.
  4. Urgent and Emergency Governance Scenarios — Can be reviewed here.

We propose using the framework as outlined **here.**

We also need to nominate who in the DAO will be responsible for shepherding proposals through the process, and for what timeframe.

Risks:

  • This could slow down our decision making speed.
  • Community members could collude to make changes based on their own wants / needs.
