This Snapshot is held to elect the GMX Security Council for Season 4, covering the term May 1, 2026 through October 31, 2026. The Security Council serves as the protocol's dedicated security oversight body, responsible for reviewing and verifying protocol upgrades, overseeing timelock transactions, and providing structured governance feedback to reduce operational and execution risk. Elected members will receive an honorarium of $500 per month and are expected to commit a minimum of five hours per week, with additional availability required during upgrades or urgent situations.
