Sponsor Rickyday Surftrip in Indonesia w/ 0.43 ETH to make Gnars Surf Content

Hey Gnars Fam, I'm Rickyday and going for a surftrip in Indonesia.

Who is Rickyday

31y Brazilian, Graduated in business school in São Paulo, always passion about the ocean, started producing surf championship in 2011 to 2015, the first event with 300 people in audience and the last one was 5.000 people at the beach. At the end of each championship there was crazy surf parties.

Mid 2012 Red Bull found me and I worked with them helping in sports events and new athletes.

All my life I participated in amateur championship and won a few, I'm not a pro, but do my best.

In 2018 I discouvered the Skipper life and start working as boat delivery and captain for charters. The surf is still my main Hobby, and as you can see, I'm always at the sea.

Until today, I always helped athletes to get sponsored for what they do, and web3/Nouns world already provided opportunities for my athletes as Nico Karolla (Gnars athlete) and Sunny Pires (sponsored by Nouns small grants).

Proposal

Well, in Indonesia, the dream place for surfers, I'm going to spend 1 month with my girlfriend and visit a few different islands (Bali, java and Lombok), so it would be a perfect place for making Gnars content.

The Idea

The main Idea is to produce material for Gnars in all my midias, I will have gopro to film in the water, and want to hire filmakers and photographers for my surf.

In addition, as said on proposal thread, I will try to present gnars for the owner of the hotel to figure out how we can have do a partnership, so everyone who has gnars can stay at the hotel or discount for gnars travellers.

will try to make some small informal event to present gnars for the surfers I meet to onboard them.

I will visit at least 3 different island and want to hire filmakers for media content.

Will do every day story on Instagram, post twice a week on IG, twitter and surfHive.

Thatsgnar.ly and gnars will be in every post in all midias.

• I will produce t-shirts to use when in land and 2 tshirts to use when surfing, to be shown in videos and photos.

Grants

0.43 ETH

75% of the grants is filmaker payment, around 100-150 USD / hour.

The rest is to produce the phisical materia, 100USD for t-shirts and stickers, 100USD to by photographs.

The Grants asked is not to pay any cost of the trip, but to produce material and hire filmaker and photographers to make content for medias, and will be available for gnars to use how the community likes, cc0 material.
