Nounify I LOVE XV Event

About

I LOVE XV is ColetivoXV annual event, it started as a protest by the local skaters is Rio. In 1997 there were no friendly architecture or good skateparks in Rio. The only good place was where the emperor used to live (Praça XV) cause it had european archteture, also as its located in downtown every bus line ended there, therefore in 1997 all the skaters of the city started to meet there until they released a law that forbid Skateboarding and Biclicling in public squares

After years of protests we got to change the city law and I love XV became the most influent skateboard culture event in Brazil.

+1000 skaters attend to the event which by tradition starts with a huge Skateboarding parade.

The local community started to gather every monday in a place called Circo Voador and then we started a serie of protests along with the GO SKATEBOARDING DAY that would become I LOVE XV event in the future, here is our timeline.

Praca Xv is Brazilian LOVE Park, but where Love Park failed we prevailed

Every year its a struggle to get sponsorship for the event, Brazilian brands suffer with the market and the support we get from the city is always efemerous and we can never rely on.

Our idea is not only to pay for the event but also build a permanente obstacle in the main spot of Brasil, from this relationship and presence, create and friendly onboarding enviroment to skaters to understand web3, daos, nfts and Gnars Dao

1. Build a skatable Noogles in Praca XV

Every year we build urban sculpture suitable for common pedestrian use and skatable for skateboarding trick is done by coletivo xv

1. Gnarly Best Tricks

Usually we give away money for tricks and we do traditional best tricks in every obstacle, this time we will also give away some ETH for the skater and for that we are going to create crypto wallets in loco using a tent as described bellow.
