Summary:

The Gobblers Union has voted to dissolve and liquidate. 38.88 ETH+WETH and 1396 GBR is liquid and ready to be distributed. At the time of writing 23040372 (23 million) GOBBLE tokens have been minted

“The Zodiac Exit pattern allows members to redeem a designated token for a proportion of an avatar's (a Safe or other web3 account's) digital assets. To incorporate this pattern, a DAO can equip the Exit Module to its Safe and members can visit the Exit App when they choose to exit.”

This proposal is for the distribution of assets within 0x6761a059eb3881627ad33553dbef81a2ba576dbf, and finals steps for the DAO Shutdown Any unredeemed assets after a period of 1 year, following opening of the redemption period; will be donated to a pre decided charity via governance vote.

Scope:

The Scope of this document continues until redemption completed GOBBLE holders, and a contingency for dead funds for longer than 1 year. Under our current governance structure, this plan assumes that Adam Cochran remains in control of execution and the multisig, any changes are outside of the scope of this proposal. The gobbler’s union has no control over the goober protocol itself or the governance of the GBR token.

There are no funds set aside for technical support, or additional actions taken by the DAO. Actions taken after distribution, are assumed to be in good faith, but not required to clean up loose ends for the DAO.

Principles:

This proposal uses a pro-rata approach to distributing the tokens, this means that at the time of writing with (23 million) GOBBLE tokens minted, meaning a claim of 2.3 million GOBBLE Tokens may yield an approximate 3.4 WETH + 139.6 GBR.

Union members will be responsible for their own claim of assets, and responsible for associated fees to withdraw funds from the DAO. 3.7% of possible GOBBLE tokens are not claimed from the juice box contract. The Zodiac Exit App uses a calculation using the circulating supply of the token to be redeemed. Tokens not minted from Juicebox are not included in this supply. After redemption begins, any GOBBLE tokens minted later may reduce the claim of anybody left to claim. Holding onto funds beyond the claim date may risk their share being diluted by these unminted tokens.

In order to close loose ends at the end of this process 1 year following, remaining assets can be sold for ETH and donated to a charity preapproved by the Gobblers Union. This concludes the Gobblers Union

Procedure:

1. Convert WETH to ETH, to save on gas for members
2. Following the passage of this proposal, a 36-hour timer begins to allow for communication that a redemption will begin. Members of the Union will be notified at the beginning and end of this interval about when claim will begin.
3. Add the Zodiac App within the Gnosis Safe DAO tooling.
4. Designate the token address within the Exit Module to 0xC2a3a4FD22c9054615F45Ef5753eb0C5a9Ebe5e8 AKA GOBBLE Use the Existing Contract Circulating Supply
5. 36 hours after the passage of the proposal, A transaction will be submitted to activate the Exit APP, modifications to expand the circulating supply can be performed if claimed from GOBBLE contract.
6. Within 10 minutes of submitting, members of the gobbler’s union need to be notified that claim has begun; included will be reference to the front end, where they may claim their tokens, and instructions how to do so posted within the discord.
