GIP-0: Goblin Sax Mission and Values

Abstract This proposal introduces a constitution for Goblin Sax, defining its purpose, mission and values. It is proposed that changes to this constitution require a stricter governance process than regular GIP’s, with a ⅔ majority vote.

Proposal Details The goal of this proposal is to outline what we care about as a DAO, serving as a guiding north-star for the community to rally behind. The words contained in this proposal serve as the core building block for everything at Goblin Sax. This constitution contains what we care about as people. By agreeing to our purpose, mission and values, the DAO will have more clarity about what actions we incentivize. We will also be more aligned and operate more efficiently when introducing future proposals. This proposal should be reviewed on a semi-annual basis and will be ratified upon passing of a governance framework.

The following text is proposed for Goblin Sax’s initial mission & values:

Goblin Sax Mission and Values Purpose Build products that will make NFT Finance seamless and straightforward.

Mission To accelerate the growth of NFT Finance by bringing the best tooling to NFT finance users as soon as possible. Through doing so, make the NFT Finance market more liquid by aggregating, integrating and creating the best analytical tools for NFT Finance.

Values

• Decentralization: We believe that power and decision-making should be distributed.
• Transparency: We embrace openness and clear communication, providing visibility into our decisions and operations to foster trust and accountability.
• Adaptability: Our business is always changing, we need to change with it.
• Focus: Time and resources are limited. Results matter, do only what moves the needle.
• Be Contrarian: Consensus is often wrong. Constructive disagreement is encouraged.
• Responsibility: The job isn’t done until the job is done.
• Integrity and performance: Assume nothing. Keep your promises. Push yourself. Push others.
• Progress and momentum: Momentum over perfection. If we stop moving, we die.
• Self-awareness and collaboration: Know our weaknesses. Don’t be afraid to ask for help.
• Promote Positivity: Great products come from strong teams. Treat contributors with kindness and respect, even in times of frustration and disagreement.
