Project Summary

Gotchi Deals Club is an innovative project that enhances player engagement in the Aavegotchi Baazaar by aiding users in discovering the most attractive deals. The web app utilizes a revolutionary scoring algorithm, ranking assets between 0-100 based on historical market activities and sophisticated data science models, catering to both newcomers and seasoned collectors.

A proof-of-concept prototype (https://gotchideals.com) was unveiled as part of the Aavegotchi DAO Voltron Hackathon in August 2023, featuring a single-page UI that displays live top wearable deals from the baazaar, serving as a proof-of-concept with a simplified algorithm to score deals. The prototype received broadly positive feedback, as well as helpful observations from the community that will be incorporated into future development.

Funding Request

I am seeking approval for a grant of $15,000 in USD equivalent (USDC or DAI) to support the development of the Alpha release of Gotchi Deals Club. This proposal is strictly for the approval of funding for the Alpha release; proposals for Beta and Production release funding will be submitted separately in the future.

Project Roadmap

Alpha Release (Cost: $15,000, Delivery timeframe: 2-3 months)

The goal of the alpha release is to perfect the deal scoring algorithms and expand support beyond wearables to include gotchi listings.

• Expansion of Deal Scoring Algorithm: Introduction and refinement of deal scores for gotchi listings using machine learning.
• Maintenance and Improvement of Existing UI: The current prototype UI will be retained and enhanced based on feedback and requirements.

Beta Release (Future Proposal, Est. Cost: $20,000)

• Enhanced User Experience: Rebuilt app UI with on-brand design, flexible data views, and interactive charting.
• Real-Time Discord Alerts: Instant notifications for new hot deals as they appear.

Production Release (Future Proposal, Est. Cost: $15,000)

• Final Implementation and Optimization: All planned features including customization and advanced features like asset valuator will be fully implemented and refined.
• Wallet Integration: Connectivity for quality-of-life features.
• Deal Score API: Enable other tools in the ecosystem to integrate deal scores into their interface.
