Should Game7 implement an AI Chatbot in our Discord?

A "yes" vote will signal your desire for Game7 to implement an AI chatbot.

Background:

@jojo | Castle of Blackwater created a soft proposal for Game7 to consider an AI chatbot. As the discussion evolved, we settled on a solution provided by Gleen.ai.

Background (As proposed by @0xdab6…3a95 ):

Community management and engagement is hard. New people are constantly joining that expect support and information, time zone difference make it tough for people to always be around to help, and Game7 has such extensive information and documentation available, that not everyone can find their way to the answers that they search for all the time.

To help us overcome these common challenges, I believe we could use a AI Discord bot that is trained on publicly available Game7 documentation, to act as a 24/7 available community support assistant.

Proposal Summary:

At Castle of Blackwater we overcame similar issues by creating a Discord bot that was trained on all of our documentation. This included our whitepaper, backstory and web3 economic theory. We then created an identity for this bot, and based his personality on that of our game’s protagonist. Finally, we attached the introduction of this bot to our onboarding flow, making sure that new users are informed of its existence and functionality.

The result is that new users coming into our Discord server have an easy, fun and instant way to get responses to 90% of their questions. As the bot also has a fun communication style, we’ve even noticed entire conversations occurring between users and the bot during times when our main team is not available. Feedback on this bot has been absolutely glowing, and our Discord engagement and onboarding metrics experienced a significant rise since it’s introduction.

I propose that we build a similar bot for Game7 DAO, which will be trained on a pre-defined collection of materials that we deem relevant, and that we then integrate into the server onboarding flow (and perhaps even the summon questline for citizen).

Goal:

To increase the engagement on our Discord server, increase people’s access to support, and to create another experience that solidifies Game7’s reputation as a trailblazer in the web3 gaming DAO space.

Rationale:

By having a Discord bot support assistant that is trained on all the relevant Game7 information, that is available 24/7 and writes in an authentic and engaging way, we will create a better onboarding experience for new members and increase engagement metrics all around.
