Reduce the bonus emissions of Smart Vaults and for staking SPOOL & voSPOOL by half until another vote changes this metric again. Starting with June this year.

Proposal 📬

Spool is currently emitting 150,000 SPOOL a month to SPOOL stakers, 500,000 SPOOL to voSPOOL stakers, and 50,000 SPOOL bonus emissions to Smart Vaults. The new emissions for stakers shall be set to 75,000 for SPOOL, 250,000 for voSPOOL staking, and 25,000 SPOOL for bonus emissions per month by this proposal. This decreased inflation would be 50% of the emissions compared to previous months.

Motivation 🔥

SPOOL emissions are given to users of the SPOOL protocol to incentivize long-term commitment to the DAO and reward loyal participants. In light of the recent proposal to reduce the total supply of SPOOL tokens by 70 million, we recommend reducing emissions and, therefore, reducing the market impact of the aforementioned emissions.
