GP stands for GRACY Proposal, a proposal written to guide the project towards a better direction. Decisions are made based on the adopted responses in the proposal, and voting rights are determined by the amount of GRACY held at the snapshot moment.

Background on Voting Options

The staking reward can increase the total circulating supply in the market, so we have carefully considered several factors when considering options for this proposal. We have decided that the staking reward pool must not exceed 10% of the circulating supply. Our goal is to maintain an Annual Percentage Rate (APR) of over 100% throughout GRACY staking period and have about 10% of the total unlocked supply staked in the contract. Since not all unlocked supply is being circulated in the market, we expect the actual APR to be higher or the staking amount to increase even more.

However, some members of the community may believe that these conditions do not benefit the project. To accommodate these concerns, we have included the "Vote Against Staking Reward" option. If this option is chosen as the result of this vote, GRACY staking will not be launched unless a new proposal is selected by the community.

Background on Staking Period Options

Most other staking products require lockup periods of 30, 60, 90, or 180 days. However, GRACY staking features a flexible staking system that allows deposits and withdrawals at any time. Therefore, we have determined that shorter lockup periods, such as 30 or 60 days, are unnecessary and have excluded them from our proposal.

Since smart contracts cannot be modified after deployment, we concluded that providing an indefinite staking period would not be appropriate. Instead, GRACY staking will operate on a seasonal basis to continuously improve and supplement any shortcomings. The community will also decide on the reward amount for future staking seasons.

GP는 GRACY Proposal의 약자로 그레이시 프로젝트의 미래 방향을 위해 작성되는 제안서입니다. 제안서를 바탕으로 홀더들의 투표가 진행되고 결의사항이 프로젝트 의사결정에 반영됩니다. 투표권은 스냅샷 시점의 그레이시 토큰(GRACY) 보유 수량에 의해 결정됩니다.

투표옵션 설정 배경

스테이킹 보상을 통해 시장에 추가 물량이 유통될 수 있기에 그 규모에 대한 투표 옵션을 신중하게 검토하여 제안합니다.

유통량 대비 신규 편성되는 스테이킹 보상의 비중이 10%가 되지 않도록 하였고, 이번 GRACY 스테이킹을 통해 100% APR(연간 이율) 이상 유지하며 전체 락업 해제 유통량의 약 10% 스테이킹되는 것을 목표로 합니다. 락업 해제 유통량은 거래소 유통량이 아니기에 실제로는 APR이 더 높게 형성되거나 스테이킹 물량이 더 늘어날 것으로 기대합니다.

다만, 위 조건이 프로젝트에 도움이 되지 않는다고 생각하는 커뮤니티의 의견이 있을 수 있기에 “보상 편성 반대” 또한 투표 옵션으로 넣어두었습니다. 반대 옵션으로 결정되는 경우 커뮤니티의 의견을 수렴하여 스테이킹 서비스를 출시하지 않거나 새로운 옵션이 만들어질 수 있습니다.

스테이킹 보상 기간 설정 배경

대부분의 타사 스테이킹 서비스는 30일, 60일, 90일, 180일 등의 기간 락업으로 구현되어 있습니다. GRACY 스테이킹 서비스는 이와 다르게 자율형 스테이킹으로 구현되어 언제든 입출금이 가능합니다. 따라서 30일, 60일과 같은 짧은 기간은 필요하지 않다고 판단하여 투표 옵션에서 제외했습니다.

스마트 컨트랙트는 배포 이후 수정이 불가하기에 무기한 스테이킹을 출시하는 것은 적절치 않다고 판단하였습니다. 그레이시 스테이킹은 시즌제로 운영하며 부족한 부분을 계속해서 보완해 나가고자 합니다. 이후 시즌에 대한 보상량 또한 커뮤니티와 함께 결정하고자 합니다.
