This project aims to revolutionize the gaming industry by creating immersive and creative worlds that incorporate Web3 technologies. By adding a financial incentive layer on top of our open-source project, we hope to help developers monetize their creativity while providing users with a unique gaming experience.

Overview

Our project aims to push the boundaries of creativity, mechanics, and art in immersive games and experiences. As a creator, I have already developed several worlds that are designed to challenge players and transport them to new dimensions. With this grant, we seek to take our vision even further by creating a platform that incentivizes artists and game developers to collaborate on immersive environments that are both visually stunning and engaging. By providing a financial incentive for creators to come on board and help us create new types of environments, we hope to attract a diverse range of talent and bring to life even more imaginative and compelling worlds that will push forward creativity in gaming.

Value to Synthetix

By integrating the proposed project into the Synthetix network, it will provide an immersive gaming experience that is unlike anything currently available in the market. This will attract a new audience to the Synthetix ecosystem, bringing in new users and creating greater exposure for the project. Additionally, by providing a financial incentive for artists to join the project and contribute their skills to creating new and unique immersive experiences, we can ensure that the project continues to push the boundaries of creativity, mechanics, and art in the gaming and immersive experience industries. This will not only benefit the Synthetix ecosystem but also the wider DeFi and blockchain communities, as it will showcase the potential of blockchain technology to drive innovation in other industries beyond finance. Overall, this project will bring significant value to the Synthetix ecosystem, by creating new use cases for SNX and helping to attract new users and further establishing Synthetix as a leader in the DeFi space.

Project Implementation Plan

Month 1-2:

Hire a web3 developer to work on the project Finalize the technical requirements for putting the project on the blockchain Begin building out the blockchain infrastructure for the project Month 3-4:

Onboard a creative team to work on building immersive environments Collaborate with the web3 developer to integrate the blockchain functionality into the game Start building out a Discord community and hiring community managers Month 5-6:

Complete the integration of the blockchain functionality into the game Start testing and debugging the game on the blockchain Continue building out the community and attracting users to the platform through targeted marketing and outreach efforts. By the end of the 6-month timeline, we aim to have a fully functional, blockchain-based immersive game with a growing and engaged community. We will continue to expand and improve the game beyond this timeline to ensure its long-term success.

Additional Information

Our project aims to revolutionize the world of immersive experiences by pushing the boundaries of creativity, mechanics, and art in gaming and other immersive environments. We believe that immersive experiences have the potential to become a major part of the future of entertainment, and we want to be at the forefront of that revolution.

To achieve this goal, we have already created several innovative and immersive worlds that showcase the possibilities of these experiences. However, we know that we need to bring in a web3 developer to help us put our creations on the blockchain and explore the possibilities of the technology.

Currently, we have an audience and a few projects that have been developed, but we need additional funding to bring a developer on board to help us build out our vision. With the right resources, we believe that we can create something truly unique and transformative in the world of immersive experiences.

Our implementation plan is focused on a 6-month timeline that includes onboarding a web3 developer, building out our Discord community, and hiring community managers to help us engage with our audience and build momentum for our project. We believe that by taking these steps, we can create a strong foundation for the project and build something that has the potential to revolutionize the world of immersive experiences.

Throughout the process, we will keep the grantsDAO informed of our progress and work with them to ensure that our implementation plan is on track and aligned with the goals of the Synthetix ecosystem. We understand that unexpected challenges may arise during the project, and we will be transparent and communicative with the grantsDAO to ensure that we can adapt and adjust our approach as needed.

Funding Request

Hiring a web3 developer - $35,000 Hiring a community manager - $10,000 Discord server setup and maintenance - $2,000 Marketing and promotion - $3,000 The biggest expense is hiring a web3 developer to build and integrate the game onto the blockchain. The developer will work on developing and testing the smart contract and web3 integration, as well as building out the game mechanics and user interface.

A community manager will be hired to help with onboarding new members, managing the Discord server, and creating engagement strategies to keep the community involved.

The Discord server will be the main hub for the community and players, so setting it up and maintaining it will be important for building and sustaining engagement.

Finally, marketing and promotion expenses will be used to increase visibility and attract new players to the game. This could include social media advertising, influencer outreach, and other targeted marketing efforts.
