This grant will facilitate an all- woman and non-binary crypto women conference in Africa. The conference will bring all active crypto ladies into a two day conference (conference & hackathon) which will be led by the crypto EA , a group of energetic crypto currency enthusiasts who aim to scale cryptocurrency adoption across Africa.
Our main goal in the conference is to support young women in the development careers - those in the technical field and non technical field of the crypto currency space which historically has been male dominated while promoting and marketing synthetix.
We also aim to empower all young women out there and provide a networking opportunity and provide a networking opportunity by bringing different people together to share ideas and build connections
We intend to hold the event in the month of march 2023 and we are working with different women groups or communities to make the conference a success.

Working together with these groups will ensure that the conference is well-organized and well-attended, and that the content and programming are relevant and engaging.

In addition, we are committed to ensuring that the event is accessible to everyone. This includes making accommodations for individuals with disabilities, such as sign language interpreters or closed captioning for virtual sessions.
Following the conference, we plan to launch several initiatives and programs that will help to continue the momentum generated by the event. This could include ongoing networking opportunities or mentorship programs for attendees, as well as plans for measuring the impact of the conference on the wider crypto ecosystem. Conference execution: This milestone will involve the actual execution of the conference, which will take place over two days in March 2023. Attendees will engage in a range of sessions, workshops, and networking opportunities that will help them to build their knowledge, skills, and connections in the crypto industry.
Launch of post-conference initiatives and programs: To ensure that the conference has a lasting impact, we will develop and launch post-conference initiatives and programs that will help to continue the momentum generated by the event. This could include ongoing networking opportunities, mentorship programs, or research and impact assessment projects that measure the conference's impact on the wider crypto ecosystem.
Impact assessment: Finally, we will conduct an assessment of the conference's impact on the industry, measuring its success against predefined metrics. This will help us to refine our approach and identify opportunities for further growth and development in the East African crypto ecosystem.
The execution period will be 2 days. The place of execution or venue will be in Nairobi Kenya, the second largest crypto hub in Africa
Attendee Target: Our goal is to attract and engage a diverse audience of at least 500 women from all African nations, with a particular focus on the largest crypto hubs on the continent, including Nigeria, Kenya, Uganda, Ghana, and South Africa.
Frequency: We aim to make this conference a recurring event, happening every quarter of the year, to continue onboarding as many women as possible and nurturing the community.
Community Building: By bringing together women and non-binary individuals from across Africa, we hope to foster a sense of community around Synthetix and the broader crypto industry. Through ongoing engagement and programming, we will work to grow this community and support its members in their personal and professional development.
Synthetic Adoption: One of our key goals is to promote the adoption of Synthetix across Africa, and we believe that this conference will be an important part of achieving this. By providing a platform for education, networking, and collaboration, we aim to encourage attendees to become advocates for synthetix and help to grow the African community around the platform.
Impact Measurement: Following the conference, we plan to track the impact of the event on attendees, the wider crypto ecosystem, and Synthetix specifically. This could involve gathering feedback from attendees, analyzing social media engagement, or monitoring changes in Aave adoption or trading volume.
