"Solow BUILD" is a 6-week program where people join to pursue a specific goal of their choosing, with the only requirement being that it pushes them out of their comfort zone and encourages hard work. Towards the end, the program will select the best profiles, who will then compete to win a prize pool. However, the prize pool is just an additional incentive, as the most valuable aspect will be the personal growth and recognition from the community.
The idea for this project started this year after conducting a series of polls for the community and companies in the ecosystem. We realized two things: companies needed builders, and people wanted to build but lacked the necessary tools or proper incentives to do so.
The purpose is to create these incentives by offering a safe space for individuals to take one step further into the ecosystem while learning and making valuable connections, along with the opportunity to compete and win a prize.
Synthetix could benefit from this project by presenting a proposal for a goal that individuals can pursue, such as creating content, developing demos for their platform, or exploring career opportunities.
Besides, It provides an opportunity for Synthetix to promote themselves within Latin American communities. We could organize a workshop or interview specifically for the program.
A portion of the grant will be allocated to the individuals responsible for maintaining the program, ensuring its continuity, while the remaining funds will contribute directly to the prize pool at the end of the program.
The program has a total duration of 6 weeks. During the first 4 weeks, participants will be required to demonstrate their progress by submitting a short video, networking, attending talks and workshops. The last 2 weeks will involve the selection of finalists, and the ultimate winner will be decided by the community. The winner will receive a prize from the prize pool, but the most valuable aspect will be the recognition from the community and the attention from companies observing the program.
We have 3 weekly contact points: Workshops on the week's task, where the theory will be explained. Conversations with industry builders, providing practical insights and experiences. Discord reunions with trivia and other enjoyable activities.
To assess progress, participants will submit a short video each week, discussing their advancements during the previous week. Additionally, there will be interactive activities on Twitter to facilitate sharing and engagement.

The funding request for the project is $7,000. While we are still finalizing the exact amount of work required from the team, we estimate that $4,000 would be allocated to Solow for the operational costs, and $3,000 would be dedicated to the prize pool.
