Grant request for building a professional resume wallet.

Overview

Metaintro is a professional resume wallet for web3. The multi-chain custodial wallet holds certifications, proof of work, and credentials, replacing the PDF resume. Job seekers can access their wallet through a browser extension, which can then be used to interact with web3 job applications.

Value to Synthetix

The more an individual job seeker learns and builds on the Synthetix ecosystem, the more likely they'll be able to use those skills to obtain their next web3 job. Metaintro's ultimate goal is to give those job seekers a powerful custodial wallet to help them land that next role.

What we would like to do is issue Synthetix developers, users, and builders Solana proof-of-work and proof-of-skill badges which will live in their Metaintro custodial wallet.

Having a certified badge that shows proof-of-skill or proof-of-work would make a massive difference for a job seeker in the hiring process (and for the employer who wants verified Synthetix developers).

Project Implementation Plan

We have three major milestones that we'd like to hit:

1. Milestone: Metaintro Wallet (broken down into three sub-parts.

1A - Metaintro wallet shell - 84 hrs. Feature description: Metaintro is a multi-chain custodial wallet that is interacted as a browser extension that can hold proof-of-work, proof-of-skill, proof-of-education, replacing the PDF resume. This first milestone will be towards building the shell of the wallet, giving the user the ability to interact with it as a browser extension.

1B - Wallet customization - 84 hrs. Feature description: The first iteration of Metaintro will have minimal customization features including name, image/avatar, header categories (such as education, work experience, skills), and a contact section. Here our goal is to set up the wallet to be ready for NFTs to be imported into a job seekers’ wallet.

1C. Wallet address - 84 hrs. Ability to send existing NFTs (such as POAPs) into this wallet (through the that job seekers’ Metaintro wallet address).

This third milestone will be when we can release the beta of this first iteration to a small test group from our community.

2. Milestone: Skill badge minting process – via authorizers Feature Description: Ability for a job seeker to submit a skill/certification to be verified by a verifying agency/entity or a previous employer.

We’ll be able to release this MVP to the Metaintro community (at the growth pace of our current community, we’ll be able to release this to about 6,000 job seekers).

3. Milestone: Skill badge minting process – via on-chain activity detection AND by personally verifying. Feature Description: The second way to build your Metaintro wallet will be through past on-chain activity. Metaintro wallet will be able to detect current on-chain activity through other wallets (such as Metamask) which can then be added to job seekers’ Metaintro wallet.

The third ability to add NFTs to job seekers wallet is by self-minting. Self-minting would require three points of data to mint NFT skill badge. We’ll place a “sticker” on that badge that says “self-verified”.
