Grant Description

Mangos is a multichain social recovery wallet that will allow users to earn and invest within an intuitive and easy to use platform, with the ultimate vision of allowing everyone to benefit from decentralized finance.

Overview

Mangos is a wallet based on a social recovery smart contract, where the users keys live on their devices and uses them as a way to sign transactions on the contract, while also having a backup guardian in charge of restoring funds ownership in case of need.

By the end of the first development stage, Mango will give the chance of holding and sending ERC-20 tokens, fiat purchase of crypto and access to earning and investing protocols, plus the ability to connect to other dApps via wallet-connect. In a second instance, Mango wallet will also feature multi-chain support and a mobile version.

We evaluate social recovery system *as the perfect tool to onboard new users to the multi-chain crypto ecosystem. Mass adoption through simple interfaces and improved user experience it’s what we want to accomplish thanks to this grant.

Value to Synthetix

We want to onboard non-crypto native users and offer them a great variety of on-chain assets on EVM compatible chains; that’s where Synthetix protocol can provide us with a variety of assets available on-chain, specially multiple global currencies which can be leveraged as a tool for greater adoption.
