HIP-34: HyperLiquid Connector + Partnership

Rationale

• HyperLiquid (https://www.coingecko.com/en/exchanges/hyperliquid) is a perpetual DEX with a unique Vault offering that allows users to run stake-able liquidity provision strategies called Vaults (https://app.hyperliquid.xyz/vaults).
• Vaults are highly transparent (all trades and orders are displayed in real-time) and should be a good fit for Hummingbot users who want to run various types of strategies, display their trading performance publicly, and attract stakers.
• HyperLiquid Protocol Foundation has committed to provide a commensurate level of financial support to this partnership.

Partnership Initiatives

• Build and integrate the perpetual connector to HyperLiquid DEX into the Hummingbot codebase. See https://github.com/hummingbot/hummingbot/pull/6675.
• Content: Development of videos, blog posts detailing processes such as connecting to the exchange, integrating API keys, establishing a Vault, and others.
• Vault: Hummingbot Foundation to create a demo HyperLiquid vault and manage a trading strategy on it.
• Joint Promotions: The partners will collaborate on initiatives to boost engagement and utilization.

Bounty Allocation

1,500,000 HBOT tokens

Timeline

Hummingbot Foundation will utilize the bounty allocation along with funds provided by HyperLiquid Protocol Foundation to complete the initiatives listed above during Q1 2024.
