[HGP-57] Epoch 8 Chain Connectors Poll

Eligible Connectors

A quarterly poll that allocates HBOT to chain connectors to define the level of maintenance that the Foundation spends on each connector.

The choices for this poll are the current chain connectors in the codebase: https://hummingbot.org/exchanges/

Bounty Allocation per Poll

Polls allocate a fixed pool of 1,000,000 HBOT among the top chain connectors for each Poll based on their pro-rata voting share. This per-chain amount would be a public HBOT maintenance bounty allocation which the Foundation uses to fund bounties assigned to community developers for bug fixes and upgrades related to that chain's Hummingbot connectors.

Connectors Receiving Allocation

For each poll, the top four (4) chain connectors, ranked by number of HBOT votes, receive bounty allocations, based on their pro-rata voting share.

Bounty Allocation Cap

The maximum allocation per chain is 800,000 HBOT.

Connector Inclusion Threshold

In each Poll, a connector needs to receive at least 200,000 HBOT in aggregate votes. Otherwise, the chain connector will be removed from the Hummingbot codebase in the following monthly release.
